Hi - I Chartered in 2007 - I think I was one of the first group of 'extraordinary' candidates to submit after the change in regs. It took about 9-10 months for my portfolio to be accepted and I was asked to submit an extra piece of work to illustrate my knowledge of wider professional issues.
I am currently CSO for S.Wales (CDG) and I always tell candidates that it can be a long process after submission - but most people usually get there in the end so it's definitely worth the effort . . .
Good Luck & Best Wishes to you all
Pat.

Hi,
I'm also resubmitting, it's really good to hear I'm not alone. I registered at the beginning of 2006, put together a portfolio at the beginning of 2009, made a hash of it, had a baby and thought about quitting, but it's become my nemesis and I have to conquer it or feel defeated forever! Would love to be in touch with others, it's a lonely business being extraordinary!!
Kathryn
