Population Footprints: A UCL/Leverhulme Trust symposium on human
population growth and global carrying capacity

A major international symposium which will provoke debate on the theme
of human population growth and global carrying capacity, often regarded
as simply too controversial and difficult to be tackled through rational
analysis. There will be approximately 30 speakers over the two days,
drawn from NGOs, government agencies, universities and civil society.
The keynote address will be given by Dr Babatunde Osotimehin, newly
appointed Executive Director of the UNFPA.
