Hello
Over the past few months, I've offered documents which might be of
use. I make these freely available for circulation to other
organizations and professional colleagues. I'm not trying to receive
any credit for this work; the resources were all available freely on
the internet. All I did was to do the searches and to assemble useful
results. In retirement, I receive a pension which is adequate
compensation!
Over the past decade, I've acquired an extensive personal electronic
library of resources pertinent to people with disabilities with a
focus on intellectual (i.e., learning) but not limited to this group.
For example, I assembled a literature review (over 400 pages of
largely quoted material) in 2005 on issues pertaining to services for
people with intellectual disabilities - much is of use to those with
any type of disability. Again, just ask if you want copies or for me
to do a Google Desktop Search of my computer library on topics
relevant to your work.
My motivation is to get this material into the hands of those who
could use it for research or other purposes and to further the work of
people with disabilities or serving those with disabilities. Any
credit should be given to the original authors and developers of the
material which I reference.
As a Christian and a Canadian, this is my way of serving people with
disabilities.
Thanks
-- Duncan
