Hi Nicolas
Part-time position?
They are not looking for experience which is hugely valuable in this sector?
Duties may be limited - for instance Phase 1 report preparation?
The list is endless really and I am busy. My advice (for what it's worth) to graduates seeking positions: any opportunity is a good opportunity for an undergrad, particularly bearing in mind the stiff competition.
I worked for nowt (a while ago admittedly) to get a foot in the door!
Kind regards

I probably only have a few minutes before the thread is flagged as being inappropriate as I know we are meant to discuss/argue technical matters, but I have just seen a job advert on Ends for a graduate that caused me to splutter in my tea.
'Ideally you will have an academic background preferable degree qualifications in the following disciplines; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, Salary £11000-14000 per annum'
'This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is committed to the advancement of there staff through training and development and is prepared to financially reward them for there abilities'
It also looks like they could do with an English graduate to check their spelling.
At least the successful applicant will not have to worry about paying off their student loan
Does anybody want to try and defend this?
