Hi Neil
You've probably already considered this.......
The Action 4 NG HD can be configured as a 20" x 16" chair which isn't far off what you need and with the angle and depth adjustable individual or one-piece footplates you'd possibly achieve foot support. Aren't there footplate extensions available for the individual angle/depth adjustable footplates too so you'd just need to watch out for fouling the castors.
You can also play around with the configuration in terms of seat height (beyond what Invacare might recommend) which may have been why you chose the Action 3 last time?
Weight limit is 160kg.
Regards
Margaret

Subject: 18"x13" Self propelling Wheelchair?
Hi,
I currently have a patient whose wheelchair is now too small. We have
worked hard to get him the correct size and this worked for a couple of
years. We would be grateful to hear your views, experiences or the
relevant contacts to help us source an appropriate chair. Currently he
sits in a modified Action 3 from Invacare and requires a seat size of
20"x13", with self propelling wheels and his weight is mid-80s kg. It is
an interesting issue to get resolved and would be grateful for your
thoughts.
Other things we considered:
DB1 - footplates don't come close enough to seat canvas
Access - unsure if they're still doing specials
