Throughout 2011 the MUA plans to expand its coverage beyond just
underwater archaeology to include more posts from maritime historians as
well. We believe that professionals from both fields have an obligation
to share their research with the general public. This month we are pleased
to bring you one of our first efforts in that direction with a guest blog
by maritime historian Dr. Timothy G. Lynch.
