CK Clinical are currently recruiting for a contract Biostatistician to
work for a leading Clinical Trials company located in the South-East.
Rates on offer are competitive and can be discussed upon application.
The Key Responsibilities of the role includes:
* Providing statistical contributions, statistical review and quality
control of protocols, analysis plans, table, figure and listing shells,
database specifications, other key-study related documentation.
* Completing statistical analysis of individual studies/projects
* Interfacing with members of clinical study teams representing Global
Biostatistical Science
* Contributing to strategy on signal detection capabilities for use in
the analysis of pre-marketing and post-marketing adverse event
databases, quantitative analysis of product benefit-risk profiles and to
life-cycle safety-related activities for a product and risk management
plan activities
* Contributing to efforts in constructing proactive safety surveillance
systems for a product and infrastructure activities relating to access
to internal study databases
* Assisting with strategic input for regulatory safety queries
Interested applicants will hold:
* Masters degree in Statistics/Biostatistics or other subject with high
statistical content (OR Equivalent).
* Demonstrated effective communication skills (written and oral)
* SAS data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills
* Proven experience of working within the
Pharmaceutical/CRO/Biotechnology industry, particularly within the late
phase environment.
