Graduates in epidemiology have a wide range of career options, and are much in demand for health research in academic institutions, national health services, government, non- government organisations and industry. At the University of Nottingham, we offer Masters and Diploma courses in Applied Epidemiology. These courses aim to provide excellence in the teaching of epidemiological and statistical concepts and methods with an emphasis on their practical application to public health and clinical research.
The courses in Applied Epidemiology have a modular structure to meet a wide range of students’ needs and interests, for postgraduate students from both medical and non-medical backgrounds. Students may choose to study either at Masters or Diploma level, full-time over one year or part-time over two years.
