Dear all,
Work has started in Llangefni on an exciting project to provide a new archives and modern records facility for the Island of Anglesey.
The new premises will open to the public on Monday 03 October 2011.
In order to prepare for the move, the Anglesey Archives Service will temporarily close to the public with effect from Monday 30 May 2011. Access to our collections therefore, will not be possible between June and September 2011.
The key dates are as follows:
• 27 May 2011 The last day of normal service at Glanhwfa Road
• 30 May 2011 – 29 Sep. 2011 Closed to the public
• 30 Sep. 2011 Launch event
• 03 Oct. 2011 Re-open to the public in the new building
We would be very grateful if you could pass this information on to anyone you know who may be thinking of visiting us this summer.
Best wishes,
Hayden Burns
