thanks for your comment. To understand for the relevance to ethics of
science, a good starting point is the open letter to Merkel. Alice Bell
kindly posted a link to the English version. If you then have a more
specific question after you have read that, feel free to ask and I'm
happy to explain it in more detail, as I appreciate that you can't read
all the German editorials and newspaper items that discuss this issue.
I'm afraid you lost me with the "social scientist" comment, could you
please explain?
