The School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Westminster, London, invites applications for 3-year PhD studentships on "Developing and comparing novel data mining algorithms for predicting unplanned hospital admissions using routinely available data"
Applicants with strong background (through undergraduate and preferably Masters degree) in quantitative subjects such as mathematics, operational research, statistics, industrial engineering, quantitative economics, computer science (intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, etc) are particularly welcome, as well as those with a background in epidemiological or public health modelling.
