Yes, "north" London matters, but if you write "south" London, the particular significance of "north" London will be evoked for the initial sorters out of your email anyway. Though they might find "Cornwall UK" more exotic, and more worthy of the eyes of their kingpin.
Don't neglect to ask a question (about censors or censorship). I believe Craig Ferguson will read your poem, but not necessarily aloud on the show. He might very well answer your question on camera.
