I asked Tim and he says:
One possibility is to set the "Other name" for a resonance, which will
show through only if the resonance otherwise has no type. This is just a
label and has no formal assignment meaning. For v2.1.5 this can be set in
the main resonance table: from the assignment panel [Show Peaks], then
[Resonances] (tedious, I know). However, in v2.2.1 this is quick: double
click on the resonance on the left of the assignment panel and select "Set
Resonance Name".
