Subject: NVivo?
To: [log in to unmask]
Dear Joan,
I hope you don't mind me emailing with this quick query -- I'm thinking about
using NVivo to try help me analyse some qualitative data I've collected for the
project I'm working on at the moment. However, I've never used it before (or
any other kind of coding software) so am trying to get a handle on some of the
basics.
I was wondering - Have you ever used NVivo? Or do you know anyone else in the
department who does? I'd love to see a working example of using NVivo to
analyse transcripts (of group discussions, in particular) as I think this will
help me to know whether its right for me or not. Alternatively can you
recommend any books or sources of information about this?
Sorry for such a general query - if its easier to respond verbally then let me
know when I can catch you in your office hour!
Best,
Sara
