Dear colleagues,
For my project "Mutual intelligibility of closely related languages in
Europe: linguistic and non-linguistic determinants" I am looking to hire
bright students with an MA who want to pursue a PhD in linguistics. The
aim of the project is to investigate the mutual intelligibility of
related languages within the Germanic, Slavic and Romance language
families and to compare this with the role of English as a Lingua
Franca. Please pass on the link to colleagues and to interested students:

Best wishes,
