Dear Jan, I am looking forward to Thursday. I have tried to put some of my
thoughts in order by amending your draft (attached). It owes a great deal
to the Strategy created by the Northumberland National Park. Such bodies
are used to having to create Strategies that stand up to public scrutiny.
Its approach is inclusive, ours reads rather exclusive to the academic
world, I regret. For me the key issues are funding (omitted from the
discussion groups) and partnerships.
Best wishes, Barry
