The new segment algorithm can be set up to generate a deformation
field, which can be used for spatially normalising images. You'll see
these options down the bottom of the new segment UI. The deformation
fields can be used to warp images via the Deformations Utility,
although it may not be so friendly for those who don't know what a
composition is.
