Dear Maria,

Is it possible that the models you are trying to estimate with DCM10 were originally specified using DCM8? If so, estimation will crash simply because the structure of the DCM file and its variables has changed (see previous postings on this issue). I would suggest you re-define the models from scratch in DCM10 before starting estimation.

I tried the estimation of current DCMs. Even though I have error messages the results window and the system identification window show that the estimation progress is running (without any results; even after 60 min). When I have look at DCM.A, DCM.B, DCM.C, DCM.Ep they are empty.

Then I tried exactly the same steps with old DCMs I have run half a year ago (they went fine in DCM8 by then). So when I reestimated them in DCM10 they failed as well. I received exactly the same error message as above. The last time I have run estimation with an old DCM it started running in DCM10, it ran for four estimation steps and I received this error message:
