The Department of Psychology at the University of Bath, U.K., is
inviting applications for a PhD studentship. The PhD is for a fixed
3-year term and is fully funded (all tuition fees paid plus stipend).
The successful candidate will start in October 2011. The project
investigates internet and video-game addiction. The project is
supervised by Dr. Neal Hinvest.
The Department of Psychology is highly research active. The Departments
has three main areas of research stength; Cognition, Affective Science
and Technology Labs (CASTL), Health Psychology and Social and Cultural

The successful candidate will have a 1st or 2:1 and will have relevant
experience in psychology. Research experience or advanced training (e.g.
Masters level degree) would be advantageous but not necessary.
Experience with statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS) would be
beneficial.
