Hi Jim
This is just the kind of thing that local STEM Ambassadors management contract holders can help you with. STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from industry and academia, working in the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Ambassadors are CRB checked and fully trained to work in schools, with the aim of enriching and enhancing the teaching of STEM subjects. Many dedicated ambassadors have extensive experience of working in schools and make a valuable contribution to science education. As volunteers, STEM Ambassadors do not expect to be paid. For more information about STEM Ambassadors please go to www.stemnet.org.uk
I am the STEM Ambassadors Management contract holder for the Bristol and Bath region. We currently have a cohort of 780 STEM Ambassadors in this region, a number of which have already been involved in activities in Horfield Primary School. I would be more than happy to discuss recruiting STEM Ambassadors to support your activities, so please do contact me off list, [log in to unmask]
