Welcome, Maud. May you enjoy our banter and join in whenever the mood
strikes you. It certainly is a cross section of society here, with many
nations and levels of discourse. A thick skin is a good start, and a sense
of humour is often a prerequisite to separate irony from the
matter-of-fact.
I see there are a couple more posts from you further on, so I shall read
those before suggesting you treat us to a self-portrait - you may have done
so already.
