text/plain (68 lines) , pFACT User group enhancement list Feb 11.xls (68 lines)

Dear colleagues,

1. Enhancement list:
Many thanks for the enhancement lists which have now been amalgamated into
one list (thanks to help from Hazel Wallis from Bath) -see attached.

This list can be sorted using the "data" facility in Excel by:

- priority
- institution
- enhancement type

Some general observations:

- 4 items that were the same have been amalgamated into item 20;

- Some comments added where there it may not be necessary to make any
change to pFACT to achieve the aim, or if a request is out of date - eg
changes to MRC report, and item 11 (this is where a sharing of our
experience is useful!);

- there are several requests to make changes to the Other submission report
(items 4, 9, 10, 12 & 13);

There are also several changes to the Final Adjustment (36, 44, 48 & 49);

There are two items related to the Main Filter (5,6);

A few items may need a bit more clarification but I guess we can run
through the list at the user group meeting?

2. User Group Meeting:
A few people have contacted me to express some concern that the item to
discuss enhancements is right at the end of the day - there is a risk that
we may over-run and/or people may have to leave early to get away (quite
likely given the location).

Given that we have had very little product development in the last 18
months, the most pressing issue for users at the moment are the
enhancements. This is where we want to see progress and where Unit4 can
show their commitment to the product.

This is likely to be a long item for this first "proper" Unit4 user group
meeting so the proposal is to request that this item is moved to the
morning, after the Unit4 presentations but **before** other user
presentations - we would go on to the user presentations once the
enhancement list has been fully discussed (and if necessary, roll one over
to the next user group meeting).
Any objections to this proposal?

Thanks,
Ross.
