It's a good start, Phil - thanks.

Time! So you put up a RSS and/or OAI-PMH feed for harvesting, records tagged with 'ukoer', which takes coding time. You then have to write a guide on using the feeds (or even explaining wtf RSS/OAI are to newbies), how to aggregate them, how to use them, how they can use your API... Ok, all feasible, but good user guides take time to write.

Fair point. So is there a wiki anywhere where us data providers can bung our info and keep it up to date? If not, and if not CETIS, then where else could this info usefully go? My immediate thought would be in a repository index such as OpenDOAR, but that's a) read-only, and b) aimed very much at 'scholarly works' repositories. Any suggestions? Or should someone (myself, maybe) try to set something up, maybe on Wikispaces (http://www.wikispaces.com/) or a UKHE equivalent if one exists? There is a crying need for a reliable index of UKOER IMO.
Cheers
Fred
