Does anyone have a policy and accompanying documentation (that includes reference to the data protection act) for clients requesting OH records that they wouldn't mind sharing please? I thought we could use the PALS stuff at the hospital, but apparently not as our clients are not patients of the hospital.
Some clients have solicitors requesting records, some want them for other purposes. Our OHP is suggesting that we ask for photo ID, although I don't think that's always practical, especially if someone has moved to another part of the country or abroad.
