Would also like to add that we use MODES and it does all we would like.
Also if you are thinking of putting your stuff online on a searchable
database it's relatively easy with MODES.

Dear John
We use MODES which is issued to all regimental museums by MoD. I've
also
used it at other museums in the past. It is a fine database which
serves
all our purposes and I would recommend it too.
