Hi Richard
I've worked with both Groovy Gecko (http://www.groovygecko.com) and Switch New Media (http://www.switchnewmedia.com/) - both highly recommended. Happy to intro you directly if you need - just email me offlist.
Cheers
Mike

Subject: Video Streaming
Do you have recent experience of outsourcing the delivery of streaming video?
I'd love to hear:
* which providers you shortlisted
* what were the crucial factors in making your selection
Here at the National Gallery we're looking to improve online delivery of our video content. Currently, clips are provided as progressive downloads directly from our servers in London but we believe we could improve the user experience by using a specialist hosting service.
If you'd rather reply to me off-list I'll post up a summary of responses in a few days time. Thanks in advance,
Richard Allen
