Dear Colleagues,
Many of you will be familiar with the Collections Trust Software Survey,
which provides information about the features and functionality of the
main Collections Management Systems. I am pleased to announce that,
working with our SPECTRUM Partners, we have now significantly updated
and extended the survey to include new features and functionality of
these systems including interoperability, revised cost models and links
to example/demo versions and sites (see Press Release below).
There are details profiles for each of the vendors and a useful
guideline How to Find the Right Collections Management System for Your
Museum. We would welcome comments, reviews and ideas about how to
develop this important resource in future.
All best,
Nick
