Hi
As we still have space available I thought I'd send out a final reminder, its not (quite) too late to book, but don't leave it any longer as we need final numbers for catering!
We're really pleased to be able to have Shibboleth developers Scott Cantor and Chad La Joie over from the US presenting to us on the latest developments with the Shibboleth Identity Provider and Service Provider software, including the new Discovery Service (WAYF) and changes to the Metadata. In addition they'll be covering the issue of user consent for the release of attributes and new ways to improve the users experience through the user interface. We also have Phil Smith from Cardiff talking about a software toolkit to provide IdP (and EZproxy) usage statistcs (something which we're all asked for more and more!).
This is a great opportunity to hear where these are all going "straight from the horses mouth"!
The meeting will start at 12:00 with lunch and finish about 16:45, book your place at http://www.rsc-eden.co.uk/events/event_details.asp?eid=804
If you're able to stay after the end you're welcome to stay for some drinks, eats and live music starting from 1800 courtesy of the the JISC RSC's "Winter Fayre", which starts the next day, please email Sara Brown ([log in to unmask]) at the RSC to get your name added to the guest list.
It may just be possible that we could provide a video conference from the meeting. I'm not sure how extendable this is, we're hoping to provide it for somebody who's asked. If you would like to participate this way then could you email me directly and I'll see if it could be done, no promises though. Sorry this is a late offer, I'm only just back at work after extended sick leave.
Cheers
Andy Swiffin
