Hi Donna,
I'm not sure what is happening here. The following code runs on GenStat
Version 13 SP1
(13.2.0.4682) and SP2 (13.3.0.5152). Check the Help About dialog for your
version.
Sorry I don't have the original release to check. However there does seem to
be a limit of
9 variates in DSCATTER (perhaps the plots get too small otherwise).
JOB
FACTOR [levels=11] Fact; !(10(1...11))
CALC X[1...10] = GRNORMAL(110;0;1)
PCP [PRINT=roots,loadings; NROOTS=10; METHOD=correlation] X; SCORES=PScore
CALCULATE npcs = NCOL(PScore)
VARIATE _pcscore[1...npcs]; PScore$[*;1...npcs]
PEN 1...11; SYMBOL=1...11
DSCATTER [EQUAL=yes;PEN=Fact] _pcscore[]
If your version of GenStat is not the latest (SP2), you can download the
latest installation files
from here: http://www.vsni.co.uk/downloads/genstat/latest/?data=download
Regards, David.
