Hi Martin,
Looks a great event. Would love to send someone down. Any chance we could have the cages for the SIPM we have been waiting for since August? It might make this a bit more useful - i.e. we could start collecting data.

Subject: Short postgraduate course on Appetite research methods
We are running a 2-day workshop on research methods in Appetite on April 27th/28th, taught at postgraduate (Masters/PhD) level as part of a broader series of short workshops on psychological methods.

The Appetite course has 2 components:
Day 1. Workshop on Eating Microstructure. Comprising a lecture on the use of microstructural techniques in human appetite studies, a group exercise designing a study to meet a specific research aim, and then implementation of that design using our SIPM software

Day 2. Workshop on experimental design for studies on flavour-based learning.
There are limited places left on this course: please email if you are interested.
If the course is over-subscribed we will look to run a repeat course in early June 2011, possibly with an additional workshop on advances in sensory analysis presented by John Prescott.
