The Politics of Television Space will consider the political implications of making TV fiction in different kinds of production spaces (studios, locations etc), and how physical spaces are represented in TV programmes. Keynote speakers are Peter Hutchings (University of Northumbia), Piers Haggard (director of Pennies from Heaven and numerous other dramas), and Howard Schuman (writer of Rock Follies and many other dramas).
