Hi Emma,
Cam you give more detail of how this behaviour manifests? From a sensor/monitor point of view, we need to talk about range of movement, vibration, location.
Cheers,

Subject: Monitoring Self harming
Hi all
This is a long shot but wondering if anyone knows of a possible solution
to alert a support worker to an individual self harming during the
night. The difficulty is that he sometimes sits on the bed when he is
self harming, I am assuming that a PIR is the only option? But the
positioning is critical and not always effective.
Many thanks
Emma
