Our Biostatistics & Statistical Programming departments are involved in a
wide range of therapeutic areas and both offer exposure to many different
clients, indications, and compounds within a challenging and rewarding
environment. We are always looking out for bright, capable graduates who
would be interested in joining our Sheffield-based team, as either a
Statistical Programmer or Biostatistician. 

 

Biostatistics

The Biostatistics department strives to provide first class statistical
support to PAREXEL’s clients, including production of analysis plans and
reports, imparting statistical advice and working independently in the
programming of derived datasets, tables, listings and figures within SAS®.

 

Statistical Programming

The Statistical Programming team, located in both our Sheffield and Uxbridge
offices, provides high quality data transfer, data validation and all manner
of listings and reports to our clients using SAS®. As a Statistical
Programmer, you will provide technical expertise for the conduct of clinical
trials, and work with minimal supervision to support various programming
activities related to analysis and reporting. 

 

To be a successful part of either team you will need a good undergraduate
degree in Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or another relevant
discipline, and a genuine passion for what you do. For the Biostatistician
role a MSc in Statistics is also required. A strong analytical mindset, keen
attention to detail and open & honest communication skills are also
essential.
