Social Media and Social Research February 23rd, London
The rapid development of social media is opening up new sources of data for social researchers. The proliferation of networking sites and groups with diverse special interests opens up the possibility of access to many otherwise hard to reach groups. Instant and ready access creates opportunities yet also poses wide ranging methodological, ethical and practice issues for social researchers to address. The SRA is taking a lead in organising a small conference to explore these and others issues for this new area for social research.
New information has been added to the SRA website with brief abstracts of the papers being presented at this event and there will be ample opportunity for discussion and group engagement.
