Hi Sheila
If you haven't had much research experience so far, you might want to
do a Masters first.
Details about all of Dundee University’s postgraduate programmes can
be accessed here:
http://www.dundee.ac.uk/nursingmidwifery/postgraduate/msc-awards/
The Midwifery award can be done entirely online.
If you click on the ‘Midwifery’ link, it will take you to a flyer
that outlines the structure of the MSc Advanced Practice (Midwifery).
Starting in September 2011 we will have an MRes as well.
Happy to discuss if you want to e-mail or call.

Quoting Sheila Stewart <[log in to unmask]>:
Dear All,
I am seeking advice on postgraduate research programs. I have been
looking at MRes programs versus a MPhil here in the UK; a professional
doctorate has also been suggested to me. I would prefer a distance
learning component. I am a midwife in Wales and have had minimal
involvement in research to date. I would appreciate any advice from
those who supervise students and those who are currently undertaking
postgraduate research studies.
Thank you!
Sheila
