"Throwing a shrimp on the barbie" always sounds to me like a salacious
euphemism; but I can't pin down what for.
My then (pre-Ark) partner's son used to have a whole routine worked out
for Barbie now being joined by Psycho Ken, with pump-action arm, knife and
shower extra
But I fear I am muttering into incoherence
Thank you for clarifying that point. I like to know what degree of
greatness I am encountering.
It had never occurred to me that koalas fuck, though as everything else
does, including unfortunately people of a right wing persuasion and the
rich, why shouldn't they? (It's the reproduction rather than the act which
bothers me.) I am heartened to know that it is a highlight of a trip to
see it!
I used to watch seagulls trying to get it together on the outhouse in St
Ives. One year, I recall, there was one who just stood on his (I assume)
partner's back and looked confused. He'd stand there for some time and you
could be sure he hadn't read the advice for newly-married seagulls. After
a while, she'd shake him off - never mind, dear; throw a shrimp on the
barbie and let's eat
I'll stop now or I might go on all morning
