The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust seeks to appoint an Access and Interpretation Manager with responsibility for enabling the widest possible access to the world-renowned collections of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Working closely with the learning and operations teams you will use the collections to inspire our visitors in creative and engaging ways. You will not only play a key role in delivering interpretation projects at the Shakespeare houses, but also be responsible for the development and implementation of an exhibition programme, and for improving digital access to the collections.
You will have a degree, or equivalent in a related subject, strong management skills, in-depth knowledge of interpretation practices, with both strategic planning experience and a practical hands-on delivery background. You will be familiar with the innovative use of technology and have experience of managing a range of external partnerships.
