I am a new subscriber and editor of "Mother Pelican - A Journal of
Sustainable Human Development."
As you probably know, sustainability means humanity living in harmony
with the human habitat. The classical definition of sustainable
development is "development that meets the needs of the present without
compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Rural development has been designated a priority area by UNESCO's ESD
(Education for Sustainable Development) program:
http://www.unesco.org/en/education-for-sustainable-development/themes/rural-development/
This is an area in which the journal is lacking articles. If anyone
here has something to submit for publication, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Luis
