Context and Purpose
Project Engineers form a vital part of Project Delivery teams supplying
high quality custom image sensors to external customers such as NASA &
ESA prime contractors. The Project Engineer is involved in a wide range
of engineering tasks from presenting customers with information to
solving hands on technical problems. This is a fixed term role for 12 to
24 months. The Project Engineer forms the bridge across several teams
and disciplines. As such this role is an excellent route into the Space
and Imaging Industries.
Main Accountabilities
Competencies
* Ensure test related sections of customer documents are appropriately
defined.

* Communicate technical information to internal and external
interested parties (written and verbal) in style relevant to the
audience.

* Define and develop suitable regimes for the characterisation and
test of devices, according to the customer's requirement.

* Further the group's understanding of CCDs and related aspects
through investigations and improvement projects.

Essential Experience
Qualifications:
Degree in Physics / Astrophysics / Electronic Engineering /
Chemistry / Materials or a related subject
Key Skills:

Practical hands on problem solving
Good communication skills
Able to learn quickly
Ability to perform under pressure
