Press Office Intern
This position will support the British Science Association Press Office in the promotion of and media engagement with National Science & Engineering Week and the National Science & Engineering Competition. In 2011, NSEW will run from 11– 20 March and the theme will be ‘Communication.’ The National Science & Engineering Competition will take place at the ExCel Centre in London from 10-12 March 2011.
The intern will be an integral part of the team who will be asked to help on a range of projects and activities including marketing, evaluation and administration.
This is a voluntary internship. However a maximum of £210 per week will be provided to account for any travel and subsistence expenses incurred. The appointment is an 8 week placement from 7 February to 4
April 2011. The hours per week will be 35, Monday to Friday.
