Anyone wanting to find possible internships at a time of the year when most
people are too busy to drop in here and dredge through their memories might
try an obvious tactic.
Go to the home page for this group:
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=PSCI-COM
Go to the slot in the right hand column:
"Search Archives"
Type in
"interns"
Hit
"Search"
You will see "121 Matches".
These might provide some useful leads.

Subject: Re: [PSCI-COM] Media internships for postgraduates
Michael - please, please, don't derail my thread... in the interests of
festive cheer. I'm trying to help a PhD student and, if you derail my thread
by starting a debate about paid internships, I won't be able to.
Just to clarify... I'm looking for schemes that can run alongside a PhD like
the BSA Media Fellowships. But I don't want to be too specific because I
appreciate schemes work quite differently.
Finally... MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
P.S. Michael - the BSA asks employers to release people on full pay
(http://www.britishscienceassociation.org/web/scienceinsociety/MediaFellowsh
ips/) to do the fellowship.
