I have had the odd erroneous result,
Which may be the result of skin contamination etc,
It is often a lifestyle measure,
If you don't want to know dont have the test.

A question I too have been pondering - we run well being days (via
fitness team not OH, and i`m thankful for that) where people have such
tests, and seen to have some fairly high results. They go to GP for
fasting tests, which come back normal. I am musing about the efficacy of
the tests and also whether its worthwhile doing them - i have had some
complaints that having the tests have caused "unnecessary stress"

Hello list,
What effect, or not ,would having a breakfst type meal, prior to a
fingerprick total cholesterol test have on the result?
