Fundraising from Individuals – a course to support you in developing
effective relationships
Individual giving has been less affected by the economic recession than
donations from trusts/ foundations or the corporate sector. In this session
we look at how you can capitalise on this trend. We will explore how and
why individuals give financial support to cultural and heritage
organisations and what steps you can take to encourage them given the
current economic climate. You will discover that a little bit of investment
in relationship building goes a long way!
In Fundraising from Individuals: Developing effective relationships you
leave with:
o An understanding of individual giving as part of the funding mix
o An understanding of how to build long-term relationships with
individuals
o The ability to fit individual giving into your organisation’s
planning
o The Knowledge of how and when to make an approach
