Martin Bazley makes the key point here, and it's one I can back up from experience. Both the Zoom and the Flip use built in microphones, whereas the Kodak Zi8 has a input socket for an external mic, which allows off-device recording.
With devices using built-in microphones, holding the unit while you're recording will inevitably lead to clunks and clicks as you move the machine around. Units like the Kodak Zi8 use a plug-in mic; it allows really good quality recordings to be made. It should be added here that rule one of good radio broadcasting technique [apart from not interrupting!] is to make sure you're talking to your subject in a quiet place.
Whatever recorder you get, you need to be able to control sound input when recording; automatic recording level control generates lots of background hiss and noise, too. The Kodak and the Zoom both have recording level control, so those would be on my shopping list.
The Kodak Zi8 is currently on Amazon for around £69-79, which is a real bargain. Some of my chums in community radio and social media circles use Zi8's with groups of young people and the simplicity of the machine makes it really popular and usable.
All the best

Subject: Best Flip-type video device for sound quality?
Hi,
we're looking at a project working with musicians and performers, and
wanted to record vox pops and behind-the-scenes type footage - would a
Flip camera have decent-enough sound for this, or is there a similarly
inexpensive and user-friendly video camera we should look at instead?
cheers, Mia
