Just because Ancestry is a customer of ProQuest does not mean they take all the digitised content. And yes, experience of several others suggests that getting an answer out of Ancestry can be rather difficult.
But surely the obvious thing to do is to contact ProQuest and ask for a list of subscribing institutions. Mind you since the digitisation has only been completed in the last few months, it may well be that they don't have any subscribers yet - and the economic situation faced by universities may mean that they don't get very many.
