Hi all
Happy New Year
I'm conducting some research with my EBLIP colleagues Lorie Kloda and Denise Koufogiannakis on the impact of evidence summaries on practice for librarians and information professionals (we have received a small grant from the Canadian Association of Research Librarians).
We have taken the impact assessment tool designed by Roland Grad and Pierre Pluye et al, and attempted to adapt it for our profession. We are
hoping to test its face validity by asking some of our colleagues what they think as a very first step.
If you could take a few minutes to look at the attached tool (Word doc),
keeping in mind it is meant to be completed after having read a research
summary, such as one published in EBLIP:
http://www.newcastle.edu.au/service/library/gosford/ebl/toolkit/evidences=
ummaries.html
If you have any concerns, questions, suggestions about the tool, we
would really like to hear them! Feel free to send me your comments in an
email, chat with me, or mark up the document itself. I'm hoping to get
some feedback by January 14th.
If you don't have the time, don't worry about it!
Thanks a lot,
Alison
