Hi,
I'm interning in a small national Museum that is about to undertake an Oral History Project. And as part of the lead in to that I've been asked to investigate best practice in other Museums un terms of how the content generated is best accessed and utilised after collection.
I would be keen to hear from anyone who has been involved in an Oral History Project that could let me know about key areas such as:
- How the content was disseminated after collection (e.g. dvd, micro site etc).
- Any spin off educational projects / events generated by the Oral history collection (e.g. ways in which you can keep on making use of the collection).
- Any general advice or feedback on what you found worked well versus what didn't.
Thanks in advance.
