We just checked the registration for this control. Please see the
attached file. In the BOLD image I've put the crosshairs at the top
edge of the corpus callosum (white matter) where it meets gray matter,
and also at the bottom edge of the corpus callosum. Notice where
these points end up in the structural image. In both cases the edge
of the CC appears higher in the structural. That's why gray matter
bold activations map onto white matter CC in the structural underlay.
I saw similar misalignment in other images, so it's not unique to this
one.
One other thing I noticed is that the BOLD images are missing the left
& rightmost lateral slices. And also there's distortion of the
frontal lobe. Could This affect the coregistration in this case? And
the last and most important question is, how do we fix it?
