Greetings, all.
I just attempted to re-run some basic models of avian nest survival, and
code that had previously worked just fine to provide parameter estimates
along with DIC values now indicates that DIC is greyed out and cannot be
set. I have not changed any of the code (cut and paste from a
non-modified TINN-R file), or the underlying data.
First I tried my original method of R calling WinBUGS via R2WinBUGS
(version 2.12.1 of R with R2WinBUGS package freshly installed, WinBUGS
1.4.3, and Windows XP service pack 3), and then I tried running a model
directly in WinBUGS. Then I tried reinstalling a fresh version of
WinBUGS and the above two steps, but that did not change my results.
Any ideas? The working models were run under an earlier version of R (R
2.11.1, I believe), but I don't see how upgrading R could have changed
WinBUGS running by itself.
Thank you in advance for any help provided.
cheers, Jessi Brown
