Dear colleagues,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge of the potential for using SharePoint to catalogue archival records. The organisation for which I work is implementing SharePoint this year and has suggested that it may be adapted for cataloguing purposes. Unfortunately I know very little about this application and am dubious as to whether or not it can capture the information that we require or have the accessibility and functionality of traditional cataloguing software.
